About
Deirdre Archbold was born and raised in West Cork in the coastal town of Clonakilty. Now living in the heart of the countryside, she nurtures the creative spill between her two loves....Music and Visual Art.
Developed primarily through Performance Art, her practice also engages with video, sound, installation and textiles. Central to these processes is the body as a space to process, to conceptualise and to transform the intimacy of silence and gesture through the subtle juxtaposition of woven narratives.
Archbold is currently in her final year of the BA (hons) Visual Art Degree Programme by TUD on Sherkin Island.
